The gallery is located on a nice street perpendicular to one of the “gallery rows,” very close to the Danube. It is comprised of the requisite white walls and has several large windows between it and the street. The particular exhibition that opened tonight, was comprised of minimalistic work from a bunch of Hungarian artists. Many were sold and priced in the 1500 Euro range. Two other comments… This is the second time in Hungary that I have seen labels always placed on the wall at the lower right corner of the work. If the work is large and hung low, that means the label is by the floor, and unless you are on your knees, not really readable. Lastly, the buzz is that the gallery owner is Yoko Ono’s boyfriend. Go figure.
